More details to this question:
Am asking for a friend who is currently an inmate. A charge of a bad check and not returning rental property has resulted in 3 1/2 more years. What is the criteria for her to file a motion to ask the judge to change the sentenance from conseative to concurrent. Her original crime was possession. She does not have access to a computer.

Without retaining an attorney, her only option is to write the judge and ask if they would do that.  That is something that should have been done at the sentencing on the bad check and not returning rental property charges.  There is a very high likelihood that the sentence will not be changed.
