Is a deferred judgement a conviction?

More details to this question:
If you received a deferred judgement is that a conviction? The deferred judgement has since been removed. This was for insufficient funds/check over 25 years ago.

No - that case should be dismissed at this point, but the arrest and other records are public and can be seen if looked for if asked, this is not a conviction.
