I plead guilty to a wet and reckless charge in California. Iโm nervous because I applied for low income place in Las Vegas and they donโt take people with driving under the influence charges. Is that the same thing?
It depends on the definition of driving under the influence. A DUI reduced to a "wet" reckless means that you are admitting to reckless driving involving alcohol, this may or may not fit the definition used by the Las Vegas low income requirements.
Is that the same thing? Yes, for almost all purposes. But, I have no info on how that particular out of state agency or housing will view it. Ask an attorney in that state.
