QUESTION

is early Parole Termination Possible?

Asked on Jun 15th, 2014 on Criminal Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I have 11 Weeks remaining on my parole for felon CDS possession. My conviction was in NJ. My parole has been transferred to VA. I have relapsed and am in grave danger of being violated. I deserve to be violated. I am trying to find a suitable treatment program. Once my PO issues a warrant for VOP, I assume I will be arrested. I do not know what happens after that. I do not deserve to have my parole terminated. But why would a judge in NJ want to extradite me back to NJ and have NJ bear the expense of incarceration and/or treatment until I max out my sentence in 81 days? I have recently begun a new fairly good job and can begin to pay off my $4500 in fines. Is there a way to request early termination. Perhaps if I was able to pay off my fine, NJ would decide to terminate my Parole rather to incur the expenses related to my VOP.
