Is it possible to get theft off my record?

More details to this question:
I took a lipstick. I have no idea why I did it. I had the money to buy it. My bag was searched and I had something I bought from there and was accused of taking that. I still have the box of the product but they're still charging me with that. This is the biggest mistake of my life. My colleague is coming after me.

It is not "on your record" until you are convicted. Hire an attorney. The lawyer may be able to get a pre-trial diversion for you (depending on the county and the court) which would keep you from being convicted.
