QUESTION

Is it possible to get two old felonies expunged?

Asked on Jun 12th, 2015 on Criminal Law - Missouri
More details to this question:
It has been 12 years now since the two felonies. I was young and scared so I plead guilty to the charges. I had a knife under my car seat when I was pulled over and they say they found a crumb of cocaine on the back floor of my car, less than 2 centimeters and charged me with possession of cocaine. It’s been 12 years. Is it possible to expunge the felonies now? I haven’t been in trouble since.

It's possible, but the felonies most likely will have to be reduced to misdemeanors first. I suggest that you contact a criminal defense attorney experienced in post-conviction relief for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. (S)he would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

No. There is a very short list of felony convictions that are eligible for expungement after 20 years of good behavior, but yours are not on that list.
