Is it true that I can’t be around alcohol or gambling facilities of any kind while on probation?

State of Nevada on interstate compact from Arizona on a theft charge been on probation for a total of 5 years I have 1 year left I hope. I got assigned a new officer who is now saying I can't be near or around any alcohol or gambling facilities which I thought in my paperwork when released it said I couldn't consume alcohol or place any bets on tables or machines or buy lottery tickets.
