Is it worth fighting a speeding ticket in NJ?

More details to this question:
I was given speeding ticket for 14 MPH over the limit. This is 2 points in NJ. This speed trap in Fanwood, NJ is notorious. I thought the speed limit was 40 of which I was traveling at; I was told it is 35 MPH. I am not sure this is worth fighting?

you state that you were doing 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. is that correct ? do you have other points ? i would keep points off my license to avoid three years of insurance increases. ed dimon, esq.
