More details to this question:
I was drunk and was in an altercation with my best friend who is on probation. When the cops were called i told them he was drinking which led to him being arrested. i know he refused a breathalyzer but from there i don't know anything. i was drunk but i honestly don't really know that he was drinking i was just very mad about the situation and ran my drunk mouth. would it benefit him for me to make a statement to police saying i never saw him drinking???

Update Your Profile
If you already told the cops you saw your friend drinking, it would likely do no good to now tell the police that your friend was not drinking. Speak to your friend's lawyer. The lawyer will take it from there.
