More details to this question:
An officer entered the premises of my apartment after I told him he could not without a warrant, and before he had obtained the warrant. When I said 'not without a warrant' the officer asked me to have any other individuals there leave the premises, and as those two were stepping out the officer rushed in to secure the apartment. In my opinion, the officer also took too long to secure the premises.

You need to share all details with your retained or appointed attorney. You will not resolve a search issue without counsel.
