Is the case closed for now until he gets out of rehab or is it closed for good?

My husband was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (felony) and possession of paraphernalia with intent to use (misdemeanor). He is a combat vet that struggles with PTSD and the cop that arrested him (also a vet) said he would do all he could to see that he gets the proper help. My husband entered rehab two days after his arrest. His court date was today, but the rehab facility sent over the proper documentation proving he was in a rehab facility. When I looked online today (an hour after his scheduled court date) it says the case is closed with no action under disposition.
