QUESTION

Is there a chance the charges will be dropped?

Asked on Jan 22nd, 2013 on Expungements - Michigan
More details to this question:
My husband has a history of retail fraud (3times). He was with a guy who did some retail fraud but had nothing to do with it. He sat in the car. He had no idea the friend was going to commit a crime! Although the friend told the judge that my husband had no clue about what he was doing , the judge is still charging him with a felony which us punishable up to 5 years to life! Oh and he's already on probation for 3 years.

Your husband needs good representation. There is a high probability of jail if he is found guilty given the facts presented but I would need all of the facts before rendering any further opinion.

Heck no. Once charged, he is in the fight of his life and needs an attorney ASAP. Use the public defender if necessary.
