Is there a statute of limitations on absconding on probation?

I’m on probation and I've been absconding for about 9 months. If I continue to abscond will my case be closed?

I don't think so. The PO will get a bench warrant from the judge and it will be in the system as long as you live. I would talk the facts over with a lawyer and deal with it now.
