First things first. Retain a lawyer. Your lawyer can often arrange for you to appear for a new hearing. You could try to make your own arrangements: call the D.A.'s office or the Clerk of Court. You may be asked to come to the courthouse within a day to pick up a 'notice in hand,' so there can be no doubt that you have notice of the next hearing. There probably is a bench warrant out for you. This means that until you clear it be extra careful not to come to the attention of law enforcement: stick to the speed limit, come to a full stop at Stop signs, etc. But clear it very promptly.

You should hire a lawyer to go to court to recall the warrant. A lawyer can do this without you present if the underlying charge is a misdemeanor, so it is less risky for you.

Most likely a bench warrant has been issued. I suggest that you hire an attorney to represent you immediately and have him or her try to get the bench warrant recalled.

Get an attorney now! You are subject to immediate arrest and this time they will hold you in jail until court if you do not act first.
