Is there a way I can get the battery record sealed or expunged?

More details to this question:
I have a simple battery on my record from an abusive husband in 1994. I am trying to better myself in college in the medical field. When I go through my background check, this case keeps haunting me.

You should speak with an attorney about either a motion to expunge or 1203.4 motion.
