QUESTION

Is there a way to expunge my child support felony?

Asked on Apr 30th, 2015 on Expungements - Michigan
More details to this question:
I received a felony for child support back in December 2014 in a state I do not reside in. I never have been in trouble with the law whatsoever, and this felony is the only thing that is on my record. This felony is keeping me from obtaining employment from several good paying jobs such as truck driver (currently have CDL). Living in this state, there are not many mid-range paying jobs for someone with just a high school diploma. I am barely able to pay child support, pay probation fees, and maintain means of living. Is there any possible steps or procedures that can be taken to have this felony expunged from my record? I would really appreciate your feedback.

Very doubtful as you are not eligible for expungement for at least 5 years from the conviction. No firm opinion with the details.
