Is there a way to get this expunged?

More details to this question:
In Feb 2004, I made a very dumb choice and stole from a place I worked. I plead guilty because yes I did it I screwed up big mistake. This is the only thing I have on my back ground.

In Michigan, you'd probably qualify to petition the court for an expungement of your public criminal record. You should considering hiring an attorney to go forward.

It sounds like you are eligible for an expungement. As long as more than 5 years have passed since your sentencing date or release from incarceration, if any, whichever is later, and you have no other criminal convictions, felony or misdemeanor, it appears you meet the eligibility requirements.
