Is there anyone that can help me??

I have a pending charge of CC Abuse of my background. I was working for a company and some CC numbers were stolen from a ex friend of mine and was used to buy items from the company . Later they traced the info back to me because the ex friend of mine lived so close to me. right around to corner to be exact. Now I am mixed into it. When the police showed up at my home I was told I was being arrested for this charge because the person who did this told them that It was me... So when I was arrested and taken to jail I said that I had soemthing to do with it beacuse I was AFRAID. I have never been in trouble with the LAW at all. Not even a single parking ticket, The DA is trying to give me 2 years probation.... What should I do??? I really need help because I have a court appointed lawyer who is not even trying to put effort into my case. I cannot afford much because I have no job because no one will hire me because of this pending case on my file... Please some one help !
