is this a good deal?

More details to this question:
I AM A 29yr old male from ma who robbed a liquor store with a pellet gun under the infulence of drugs. i've never been arrested in my life (like never ever) and when i was arrested (they have me on camera) they set my bail at 15,000$ cash. i went for a bail reveiew and the superior court judge released me on personal recog, and a gps bracelet i also have to undergo drug proogram. i have been following my probation to the T. my public defender called me a said the DA was offering a deal of 18mths jail and 3yrs probation. if i do not accept they will indict me to superior court and my lawyer states i could get prison time in State prison and up too 20 yrs?? is this the best deal i got??? what should i do now?

You need a second opinion.  Hire an experienced criminal attorney to review your file, the police reports, complaint, videos, probation record, etc.  The attorney should be familiar with the court, judges and district attorneys in the county in question. Upon review of the file the attorney will be able to give you direction.
