More details to this question:
So the other night I was pulled over. The cop was following me on a road for about a minute and then flashed his highbeams. I didn't know what to do so I pulled over. Then he pulled behind me and turned his lights on and then asked me for my license. Is that a legal traffic stop?

did you receive a citation ? if so, for what violation ? this would tell you what the officer was thinking. for example, no taillight citation; a speeding citation; failure to maintain lane citation. please call to discuss. i can give you better answers when i have the facts.
