Is traveling to another state possible when you’re on parole?

More details to this question:
My boyfriend is currently on parole in NY, and I reside in GA. Since he is on parole, I have had to visit him. Is it possible that he can be granted permission to travel to see me?

Assuming he has travel restrictions he has to get permission from his Parole Officer.
