Asked on May 18th, 2013 on Criminal Law - Georgia
More details to this question:
I was underage drinking at a concert. I am 18 and had a BAC of .13. I received a MIP but I had nothing in my possession. Should I have just gotten an underage drinking ticket instead? Is this worth pursuing in court?

These cases usually require the State to prove the presence of the substance scientifically which a good georgia criminal defense lawyer can attack.
