Misdemeanor statue of limitations

More details to this question:
I have pending warrants from colorado from cases in 2007. With 10 years gone by, how are these warrants still active, Is there no statue of limitations for misdemeanors?

A statute of limitations is a time period within which a prosecution must be commenced.  Once it is commenced, if you are out of state or not located, the warrants will remain. I beleive the only way to clear them up is to show up, post the bond, and deal with the charges. Sometimes a lawyer can get some things done without you needing to be present, but normally it takes your presence to resolve them.
