Missouri: what's the consequence for applying for a duplicate license if suspended?

More details to this question:
License suspended temporarily - DWI. Copy of license needed now for something other than driving. If I apply for a duplicate license and they give it to me, what would be the consequence when they realized they issued a duplicate and it should be suspended. I haven't completed SATOP yet.

They probably won't give you a duplicate license. They would give you a non-driver license. If you get pulled over with a duplicate license, the arresting officer will know that your driver license is suspended regardless of whether you have a physical license in your possession.
