My girlfriend and I went to the grocery store 4 her long-term friend. He was sick I gave us his credit card I asked us to get him groceries. The manager upon check out suspected the credit card was stolen so, so he called BSO. When BSO entered they immediately handcuffed both my son and girlfriend they ignored her request to call him. Instead they took the credit card and went to his house just a mile away at that time he confirmed that he did indeed give them permission. The reason for the call had been satisfied. They had my son &her in the area where baskets r kept. Her purse was closed sitting in her cart in the store. Without cause, they picked up her purse and opened it. They had no reason to search her purse. They found some drugs and charged both with possession. They were not on my son nor his control. Can he file a motion to suppress.
Your explanation with this “I” terminology is confusing.
obviously, the girlfriend has a lawyer and your son should have one by now.
all this should be discussed with his lawyer
