My license was suspended for speeding?

More details to this question:
I had my license suspended because I was speeding. Unfortunately this can't go on for six months as my mom is leaving the country and I am left to take care of the house and my little brother. I was wondering if there was a way to get the judge to reduce or perhaps even lift this sentence? Any advice would be appreciated.

What court was your ticket in? Depending on the particular court, sometimes these type situations can be worked out.
