QUESTION

NJ - 39:4:88 Traffic on Marked Lanes - I was never pulled over??

Asked on Jan 18th, 2015 on Traffic Violations - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I live in NJ and just returned from a business trip to find a hand-written envelope from the City of Harrison with a printed ticket and a $185 fine. The issue is that I was never pulled over. It has an officer's name and ID # on it, so it wasnt issued from a red light camera. Is this possible? How can they ticket me without even knowing who was operating the car??

You must address this with the Harrison municipal clerk. If you do not address this ticket, you are subject to an arrest warrant. You should explain the circumstances to the municipal clerk immediately. There is no excuse For not appearing in court. There may have been a mistake made by the officer. If so, the ticket will be dismissed.
