I was charged with offense 9.12.060 (Obstruction - Streets and Public Ways) in Edison New Jersey. In the state of NJ, is this classified as infraction, petty offense or a misdemeanor? I was told this was a munical ordinance or something. What can be my best course of action for this case and will this have any negative effect in future employment?
