QUESTION

Not my vehicle, and received tickets, what should I do?

Asked on May 17th, 2016 on Traffic Violations - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Police read tags, and registration showed up as suspended. Pulled me over, asked for the documents which all showed as, up to date. I was ticketed for suspended registration and no insurance. I borrowed the car, but I wasn't aware of any of this. What's the best course of action?

Update Your Profile
You will be successful in having your tickets dismissed if you have the owner come to court with the car properly registered and insured. You need written documentation of the registration and insurance. You should provide to prosecution in advance. You will win. Ed Dimon
