Oceanport, NJ - Traffic Violation

More details to this question:
I received two violations in Oceanport, NJ. One was for speeding 54 in a 35 mph zone and 1 for brake lamp out. I just don't want my insurance rates to increase. I've heard of "Unsafe Operation" which can be used once every 3 years. I am over 30 years old if that matters and have never used that.
