QUESTION

Ordered to impound my vehicle for 10 days. Need help with a few questions.

More details to this question:
Back in 2007, I got a DUI completed everything the judge ruled, except by the vehicle impoundment for 10 days. The order states"a vehicle currently registered under my name" My question is that I don't have a driver's license and I can't get one. How can I comply with this condition since I can't get a driver's license and I really need to complete this asap? I mean is there a way to register a car under my name if I don't have a driver's license? Or what other options do I have here?? Thank you very much!

Update Your Profile
you can go back to the court that sentenced you and ask the judge to remove that condition from your sentence. File a motion to modify judgement and sentence, and set a hearing. At the hearing explain to the judge why you cannot comply with the 10 day impound. Your lawyer should have told the judge that you did not own a vehicle at the time of sentencing and asked the judge to waive this requirement. It is at the judges discretion.
