plea deal

More details to this question:
my husband was charged with sexual misconduct w/ a child under 16, however, was given a plea deal to agg assault and not on sex registry. Why are both charges listed on his background check? He plead guilty to the assault charge??

Both the arrest record and the conviction will show on a background check. In other words, if your husband was charged with CSC of a minor and convicted of assault, bith will show. The best course is to contact an attorney to expunge the arrest record.
