More details to this question:
I am on probation and recently was informed by my probation officer that I failed a drug test because of alcohol so I need to come in. This was to be my last month on probation. My question is what's the procedure and will I be arrested on the spot when I go in? Will they retest me or retest the sample? I've paid off every court cost and fine just waiting for the probation to term.

They CAN remand you to jail for the rest of your probation. It sounds to me, however, that they may want to interview you and possibly retest you. If you fully cooperate, they may give you a break.
