In a situation with a woman who said after being caught by the cops she was released early from prison so she could catch people soliciting prostitution not have them arrested but instead ask them questions like how much money do you spend how often who & personnel info about themselves. Didn't realize & she didn't reveal this until after I had sent a picture & told her some things about myself, mostly vague but maybe a little too much. She said after all that, that I could continue with the questions or take off. I couldn't answer the questions if I wanted and I felt it was self incriminating to do, so I didn't. I never handed her money I left some out but she took it and along with her other claims said that the money she'd take would go to charities and not as she said drug addictions. The whole time I thought maybe someone was in the restroom as occasionally there was a sound in it & also she wouldn't let me use it. Can this be true, is it legal, and what next? Should I be worried?
Your question is not entirely clear. I would be more concerned about her trying to scam you than her being used to arrest you. She's going to have credibility issues and if this were a sting, you would likely have been arrested right there. That being said, the exchange of funds is not necessary to prosecute a prostitution charge. An agreement is sufficient. Learn more:
