QUESTION

Protection and Representation on Drug Court

Asked on Apr 16th, 2015 on Criminal Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I'm writing on behalf of someone who is on drug court. They got a sanction for a positive ETG test for alcohol. He asked for another test because he didn't drink. They denied him. He has been attending school with good grades and working at a job that would have advanced his career. He was tested at least once weekly for close to year with no issues. Now, after a week in jail, he has been told that he will be in jail for 30 days. He has been on drug court for two years. Another person on drug with the same probation officer and same number of sanctions was caught using heroin and confessed to it, he was just released today after only a week in jail.
