You may or may not be able to get your record expunged. It would depend on whether or not you were convicted and the nature of your sentence. Some sentences for drug crimes are expungeable, some are sealable. If the class of charge for which you were convicted does not allow either, you may be able to seek clemency from the Governor of Illinois with the right to expunge. That, however, is a long and arduous process.    Please seek counsel from an experienced criminal attorney who will best be able to advise you of your options.    This posting is for informational purposes only.
