QUESTION

Should I fight a citation for PAVC 3323 sec b?

Asked on Dec 07th, 2017 on Traffic Violations - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
The other day I was pulled over and I was informed I had not come to a complete stop. I strongly believe that I had come to a complete stop, however I did not wish to argue with the officer. The citation that he handed me stated that I failed to properly stop at a legally posted stop sign. The ticket is only $141, should I even bother to fight this or just pay the fine? This is my first traffic violation, and I am not sure on how to handle it.

Should you fight a ticket is impossible to answer as it depends on your circumstances and what ticket was issued.  Failure to challenge a ticket for a stop sign can often lead to points on your llicense.  These points can often impact your insurance rates.  The best bet is to talk to a local defense attorney and see what can be done about your ticket.  In many circumstances the up front cost of an attorney can save you a lot of money down the road.
