Should I hold my ground if my blood test came back negative for everything?

More details to this question:
I was charged with DUI not reckless driving. Now they want to charge me for reckless driving because I went across the white line twice. Can they do that? It all about the money for them.

I would fight the matter since that by itself is not reckless.? I would need to know more details.
