My registration expired a month ago. I forgot to pay it because my car was off the road due to repairs. This happened once before. Paying the ticket is viewed as a guilty plea, and I waive my rights to an attorney by doing so. The ticket is only 54.00. No points were incurred. Should I pay the ticket, or is there any concern of a penalty, or license revocation?
You can explain your situation to the prosecutor and he/she will work with you. However, this requires going to court and providing the supporting documentation. Ed Dimon, Esq.
