Should I wait to get my record cleaned or can I buy a rifle now?

More details to this question:
I had got pulled over, had my pistol from the range but had no CCW or CCL. No criminal violence, it's my first time. I went to court. They let me go on bond. Anyways, I am going on ARD but awaiting sentencing with no jail time. I'm interested in buying another rifle, a long gun not a pistol. Can I still buy a rifle? Will I be denied or what?
If I understand this correctly, you are getting ARD on a charge for carrying a firearm with no conceal permit? If that is correct, wait until you get through the ARD program and then verify your record for this arrest has been expunged before you apply. In some counties like Allegheny, the DA expunges your record automatically with ARD. in other counties, you have to do it yourself. I suggest you ask your attorney.
