QUESTION

Should my husband plead guilty or not guilty?

Asked on Oct 19th, 2013 on Criminal Law - Ohio
More details to this question:
My husband is due in court for arraignment in Fayette county Ohio for 1 F5 count of cultivation and 1 F5 count for possession. He is currently serving 6 months in Greene County Ohio for an F5 (He's in their Greeneleaf program which is a 6 month rehab-behavioral modification program..) He hasn't been told if Fayette county is picking him up for court or if he is appearing via video. Should he plead not-guilty to the charges so he can talk to a court appointed lawyer & try and make a plea deal? Also, Fayette County served him in jail on these two F5's and he is worried that they won't come and get him and they'll issue a warrant for failure to appear.

I suggest he retain an attorney as soon as possible to see that a warrant is not issued for his failure to appear.   If you can afford a private attorney, I would suggest Susan Zurface from Highland County.
