I got a ticket for going 54 in a 45. I am already scheduled to attend defensive driving school this upcoming week. I don’t want this ticket on my record which sucks now. I may have been going that speed but I just wasn’t paying attention. My job is as a medical courier driver and if I get this charged to my record I will be out of a job. I went and put cruise control on the car so perhaps this will help me. What will be the best course. Pay the ticket lose my job. Show up and plead guilty or what. I have never had tickets till the last 6 months or so. What can I do

Be sure that you go to the school. Then just go to court on the new ticket and see what happens. Slow Down!
