The warrant was issued when you failed to appear at your last court hearing in 2001.  At this point, you should hire a lawyer to file a motion to place on calendar to quash the warrant and to resolve the underlying case.  Becasue the case is so old there's a good chance that the City may have witness issues in trying to prove the case against you which may ultimately result in a dismissal.
