More details to this question:
I received a surcharge in the mail for three tickets that I accumulated over the last 3 years (total 6 points). The first of these tickets expires in 3 days and when I went to court for it 3 years ago the prosecutor took off 1 point...so in reality shouldn't my total be only 5 points. If so what can I do about it?

you can order your driving abstract from NJ DMV . the abstract will list the tickets/charges. the abstract will also list the convictions/dismissals. the abstract is the official record. you would then know the proper amount of points. ed dimon, esq.
