Theft from Bank Account

More details to this question:
Grand Daughter living with Grandmother took $50,000 for Grandmothers Bank account over 1.5 years. Used the Grandmothers Debit card and forged checks. What is the Statute of limatations for this crime in NJ.

bank will not be pesponsible unless immediately notified when theft occurred. grandmother can call police and present evidence of theft. county prosecutor will decide upon investigation and/or prosecution.  there is no issue with statute. does the granddaughter have any money ? what would be the purpose of the prosecution ? ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235. please call if we can help.
