QUESTION

UPS delivered to wrong address

Asked on Jun 22nd, 2017 on Criminal Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
United Parcel Service mistakenly delivered two packages with my name and address clearly written on the packages to the next door neighbor whom is 100 feet away which whom I witnessed receiving both packages. The neighbors also have a grudge against me. They opened both packages and kept the items for three days before returning them to me. The products in the packages were sundries and edible items which were rendered unusable merely by them possessing the opened packages for such an unreasonable time while begrudging me. Should I get the products tested for adulterates? Is this a criminal matter for the police?

The police will not care. I would speak with UPS about the mistake. They will correct the mistake so that packages are delivered to you.
