QUESTION

Violated probation, shoplifting and leaving the state without permission

Asked on Mar 10th, 2014 on Drug Crimes - New Jersey
More details to this question:
What can happen to my niece for violating probation. She was put on probation after being arrested for heroine possession, pain killers without script and paraphernalia (16 bags). While on probation she was arrested for shop lifting. Never showed up for that court date on the shop lifting. Has a warrant out for her arrest. She then flew to Florida to a detox place and never told her probation officer she was leaving the state. My niece thinks that by getting help will help her in court. I don't believe that. Can anyone answer this?
