More details to this question:
I went to my ex friend's aunt's house to return money I owed him. He told me he was with his girlfriend who lives in another city so I wasn't expecting him or her to be there. I didn't want to see him. His aunt's car was there and so was his. I knocked on the door and my ex friend answers. He invites me in and I introduced myself to his girlfriend. She seems annoyed and says that my friend told her that he hasn't had any relationship or friendship with a woman in two years. I tell her that I've only known him for a little over a year so I don't know what he's talking about. She just gets angry and says she's leaving. My friend curses & leaves the room. I ask her not to leave & better explained myself. She put her things down and I proceeded to leave until my friend walks into the room with a gun. He cocks the gun, points it in my face, and threatens to kill me unless I leave.

Could be an assault. You can see if the police will file charges. He may argue that you were a trespasser who threatened harm and this was his way to get you off the property. MS may be a gun happy state and support his defense. Ask the local police.
