What am I facing with a criminal mischief 3rd degree charge?

More details to this question:
I am 22 clean record in the marine corps and have been charged with criminal mischief to the 3rd degree. I unintentionally broke a window at a pizzeria, meant to bang on it but not break it and was arrested for it. The detective called the owner and he agreed to drop charges if I apologized and paid for the window.

It is not up to the owner. It's up to the DA. Dismissal may be possible. I suggest you hire a criminal defense lawyer.
