More details to this question:
What are my legal options to stop an unrelated adult from contacting my underage child, after I've told this adult to cease contact? This unrelated adult is someone we do know, however, continues to be a negative and abusive person. It is a female adult who is the stepmother of my half brother. I have asked her to cease all contact with me and my children. However, she continues to contact my 14yr old via a service called "KIK". I already blocked her number from my phone and my teenagers phone but there is no way for me to ensure that this woman does not contact us in other ways unless there is a legal option. Please advise how to stop someone from contacting my minor child. I need a legal statue/reference that applies. If this is a criminal action I can pursue or civil. I live in SC, the offender lives in NC.
Report this woman to the police. Possible charges are contributing to the delinquency of a minor, harrassment, etc. Contact your local magistrate and have an order of protection (i.e. restraining order) issued barring contact between the wonam and your child.
